The following therapeutic wilderness programs focus primarily on the use of the outdoors and wilderness therapy as a way to transform struggling teenagers. Most of these programs have been in existence for a number of years. It is advised that you avoid programs that only recently opened their doors. Established programs usually have a stronger understanding of the safety requirements of a wilderness program.
